PlantPulse Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
PlantPulse ("we", "us") helps you care for your plants. This policy explains what
data the app collects, why, and who processes it. We do not sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, used to create and
authenticate your account.
- Plant data. Plants you add, care logs, check-ins, streaks, and
notes you enter.
- Photos. Photos you take or upload for plant identification,
health diagnosis, and growth timelines.
- Location. Your device location (GPS), used to fetch local
weather and hyperlocal care forecasts. Used only while providing weather features.
- Usage & diagnostics. App-usage events and crash reports, to
improve reliability and features.
How your data is processed (third parties)
We share the minimum data needed with these processors:
- Anthropic — plant photos and related text are sent to
Anthropic's Claude models to power AI identification, diagnosis, and growth
analysis.
- Supabase — authentication and storage of your account data and
photos.
- Weather provider — approximate GPS coordinates are used to
retrieve local weather.
- PostHog — product-analytics events (only when analytics is
enabled for the build).
- Sentry — crash and error diagnostics (only when crash reporting
is enabled for the build).
- RevenueCat / Google Play — subscription purchases and
entitlement status. Payment details are handled by Google Play, not by us.
How we use your data
- To provide plant-care features, reminders, and AI insights.
- To deliver weather-aware care scheduling.
- To operate subscriptions and enforce plan limits.
- To keep the app stable and improve it.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and no longer than that. You
can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from
Profile → Settings → Delete account inside the app. You may also
request deletion by emailing hello@60apps.com.
Deletion is immediate and removes your plants, photo files, logs, and account record —
not just references to them. As with most cloud services, a residual copy may persist
briefly in routine system backups before being purged in the normal backup cycle.
Children
PlantPulse is not directed to children under 13.
